iv been travelling australia for the past 4 months now. its the best thing i have ever done. like when i was at home, im working as a psychiatric nurse through an agency. its great money and there is plenty of demand for nurses throughout the country. the agency i go through is aliance nursing agency.
apart from work, im completely living the dream and doing things i never expected to. i did a bungee jump last month, went sailing on the whitsundays a couple of months ago, and not pplanning the ultimate trip to see the big rock!
normal life at home, working, getting o work in the rain, etc... its all over rated. iv never lookedd back and im now trying to get my second year here. shouldnt be a problem with the line of work im in either. fingers crossed.
see ya

Travelling Australia is brilliant, but travelling New Zealand is even better. For anyone who is interested in outdoor adventure sports New Zealand is the place to go. Wrap up though, especially this time of year. The scenery is amazing. So many people visit Australia and unfortunately do not make that extra flight to NZ.. WHAT A SHAME!!!

The celebrations focus on the history of the state and the development of it's people.

Let's hope the weather picks up

When I moved to Sydney I wasn't sure where to work, what to do blah blah blah blah. More to the point I wasn't sure how long I'd be staying in Sydney for, so didn't want to get bogged down in a proper job, so decided to register with a recruiting agency in the city. That afternoon I got a call, following day I went to an interview and had a brief assessment thing... the next day I found myself sitting in the cushiest admin job, earning 25 bucks an hour.
I totally recommend going through an agency because

1 they find the work for you
2 its week to week so suits travellers etc
3 you get more money than you would working directly through a company

now iv recently moved to Melbourne. its very different here than sydney. not different good or different bad.. just different.
next stop is perth. from what i hear, i expect that to be very different lol

Whats going on? Why is Melbourne so cold? ITS AUSTRALIA Its not supposed to be cold or raining for that matter.
Aside from that Melbourne is class. Living in St Kilda at the moment and its party central. All the hot boys of Australia seem to be here in St Kilda. Woop Woop

Hey Emma. yes I did hear that also ( Paddys Day / Church thing) and I still don't know if it is true or not. But what I hate is how in Sydney the Paddys day parade is on Sunday, not Monday.
That is that annoys me.

St Patricks Day is on March 17th as we all know. This falls on the Monday of Easter week, where we also have Good Friday, Holy Sat, Easter Sunday. So because of this aparently the Catholic Church have moved St Patricks Day this year to March 15th, being the previous Saturday... Has anyone else heard this? Any thoughts? I think its a joke. I'll still be wearin my Irish jersey and celebrating on march 17th.
